Libraries are more than just a repository of books and journals. It plays a huge role among the society in impacting their social and economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only libraries encourage the habit of reading and literacy among people, it also has an important role in promoting the progress of learning and a source of knowledge in the minds of the young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu promises new experiences and different perspectives in defining a modern library to its visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sibu campus will bring forward a modern and unique interior design, yet still keeping the garden’s green features.<\/p>\n\n\n

In line with the growing need for knowledge searching in today’s digital world, the \u201cLifestyle Library\u201d concept highlighted for the Sibu campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Themed \u2018Educate Yourself\u2019, all facilities and infrastructures that provided intended as a catalyst in self-learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These processes involve exploring, playing while learning, and thinking creatively yet innovatively according to their own capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu will offer various services and functions in line with the Sarawak State Library Ordinance 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n

      Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu will be located at Lot 1607, Sungai Merah, situated about seven kilometres from the city centre.<\/p>\n\n\n
