The conference, running from 8 to 10 October, featured a collection of over 60 research works relevant to the theme \u201cTheory Meets Practice\u201d that will be presented across 12 concurrent sessions based on common topics that include Economics, Corporate Governance, Business Management, Auditing and Earnings Management, Public Finance, Islamic Economics & Finance, and Accounting & Finance.<\/p>\n

The three outstanding papers presented at the conference will be awarded a certificate and the authors will be invited to submit their full paper that are expected to be reviewed and published in two publications, namely the International Journal of Business and Society and UNIMAS Review of Accounting and Finance.<\/p>\n

Organised by UNIMAS\u2019s Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB) in collaboration with the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC), the learning and development arm of Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), the events has attracted over 100 delegates from various research background countries such as Iran, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Japan, Myanmar and Malaysia.<\/p>\n

CoCIAF was first organised in 2013, and is designed as a platform for academicians, researchers, industry practitioners and policy makers to interact and exchange viewpoints and research findings on contemporary issues in Accounting and Finance.<\/p>\n
