YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah revealed that the main channel of communication of the public with her ministry stands at 79.73 per cent for online channels compared to 20.27 per cent choosing offline or physical method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was based on the survey done by Sarawak-based technology firm SOCOE Sdn Bhd (Socoe) during the \u201cDigital Dialogue: Going Digital in Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family & Childhood Development\u201d virtual event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis means that the Ministry move to digitalize all our major services and future initiative through One Single Platform iSarawakCare is the right move our ministry will be the first one to do so,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was said by YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah who is the Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family & Childhood Development (KWKPK) during the closing ceremony of the virtual event on 28th<\/sup> July 2021.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

iSarawakCare is the Ministry\u2019s initiative to digitalise its major services into an online application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, she also added that while her Ministry is digitalising its major services, they will also cater offline services to those who are struggling or still prefer the online methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that those who fall in the latte group might include those who are not techno-savvy, lives in rural areas where there are no Internet coverage and those who does not have smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah also added that initiatives rolled out by the Sarawak Government through the Ministry would not be able to give full benefit to the target group if people are not aware of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She revealed that about 65.89 per cent of the public are aware of State government\u2019s wellbeing incentives while the satisfaction on government wellbeing incentives is to be 72.50 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe survey participants comprise 77 per cent of those 16-45 years old and 23 per cent of 46-56 years,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis means that our campaign from now on must target more of the youth,\u201d said YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey and the findings during the event will contribute to the business process studies, systems database structure and help to form the foundation to move to the next phase of the iSarawakCare system which is development and implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah said that she hopes the findings can be put towards the system development for services and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is to build more mobile-based notifications functions to ensure applicants are kept up to date as well as allowing easy resubmission and editing through online channels for the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen iSarawakCare is completed, it will be able to help the Ministry to create an even stronger foundation for a dynamic workforce; emphasize on e-channels and the power of digital; create greater flexibility and accessibility for public services and provide even better services for customer satisfaction,\u201d said YB Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two days virtual event from 27 July to 28 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by 788 online participants in total with 650 (Zoom) and 138 viewing on social media.<\/p>\n
