Higher Education Scheme (FTES)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The implementation of free higher education through the Free Higher Education Scheme (FTES) is a significant policy step in the effort to build Sarawak&#8217;s human capital.<br>Starting in 2026, Sarawakian students studying at Sarawak state universities such as Universiti Teknologi Sarawak, Curtin University Malaysia, Laila Taib College, Swinburne University of Technology, and i-CATS University College will enjoy tuition fee exemption for 64 identified undergraduate degree programmes.<br>With an allocation of RM250 million, FTES will not only reduce the financial burden on families, but also transform access to education<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<div style='text-align:center' class='yasr-auto-insert-visitor'><!--Yasr
