The conference is a programme by the International Water Association and International Association on Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IWA\/IAHR) – Joint Committee on Urban Drainage (JCUD) and jointly organised by Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) and Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Malaysia; co-organised by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).<\/p>\n

It is supported by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia (KeTTHA), the Sarawak Government and other international organisations including IWA and various professional bodies.<\/p>\n

The theme for the conference: ‘Urban Drainage in the Context of Integrated Urban Water Management: A Bridge between Developed and Developing Countries’, aims to enhance understanding of complex issues in integrated urban drainage and water management.<\/p>\n
