{"id":7528,"date":"2017-12-11T02:32:57","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T02:32:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rakansarawak.com\/webv\/?p=7528"},"modified":"2017-12-11T02:32:57","modified_gmt":"2017-12-11T02:32:57","slug":"liberalisation-a-solution-to-affordable-internet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rakansarawak.com\/v3\/2017\/12\/11\/liberalisation-a-solution-to-affordable-internet\/","title":{"rendered":"Liberalisation a Solution to Affordable Internet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" dir=\"ltr\">The possibility of providing cheap and widely available high speed telecommunication and multimedia service in Sarawak can be achieved if the cost of building the infrastructure and its operation could be reduced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" dir=\"ltr\">For that, a liberal policy should be put in place for the use of existing and future infrastructure that would allow multiplayers\u2019 participation in the provision of such service, according to Chief Minister YAB Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIf the price is high and not within the affordability of the users, they won\u2019t change to digital (platforms).
