Public trust in government is based on how they feel about using government services, programs, and policies.

Under the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030), Sarawak will pursue balanced economic growth by adapting a responsible approach to the development of its natural resources. This is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

In the context of a multiracial society such as ours, we need to ensure that everyone's voice is heard and at the same time, accurate information is given to everyone regardless of where they are and which communities or group they belong to.

Public service organisations must be innovative if they are to meet expectations, reimagine the public’s experience of interacting with government, and ultimately to build trust.

The basic idea is that mass media and mass communication stimulate and diffuse values and institutions that are favourable to achievement, mobility, innovation and consumption.

Talikhidmat is a centralized communication channel for the public to reach government agencies or non-government organizations in the state of Sarawak concerning public services, the government services and government-related matters, including public infrastructure, healthcare services, education, transportation and more
