\u2013 nearly four years after its construction commenced \u2013 to replace the small Mukah short take-off and landing airport (STOLport).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With various facilities such as a new terminal building, and a runway spanning 1,500m that can be utilised by an ATR aircraft, it is set to strengthen Mukah Division\u2019s position as a major contributor to Sarawak\u2019s economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn addition, the airport will provide support for activities in (the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy) which is expected to show a more effective and efficient
