Since its inception, the programme has benefited over 500 Sarawakians through industry collaborations supporting the objectives of the SGR and Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 by strengthening local technical competencies and workforce readiness.

Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) and ADTEC JTM have partnered to launch the ELEVATE programme, targeting over 500 Sarawakians for technical training in 2026. Aligned with the Sarawak Gas Roadmap (SGR) and PCDS 2030, the initiative provides industry-ready skills and certifications, bridging the talent gap in Sarawak’s expanding oil and gas sector.

Pendidikan di Sarawak berkembang daripada sistem tradisional komuniti, melalui sekolah misi di zaman Brooke, trauma semasa pendudukan Jepun, pembinaan semula dan peluasan di bawah British, hingga integrasi dalam sistem pendidikan Malaysia selepas 1963. Cabaran terbesar kekal jurang bandar-luar bandar, perbezaan bahasa/minoritasi dan akses digital tetapi ada juga inisiatif berkesan (contoh: yayasan negeri, universiti awam dan rangkaian MySRBN) memberi titik tolak untuk penyelesaian praktikal.
