KAUL IX cipta inovasi TRASENS yang telah berjaya meningkatkan keberkesanan operasi pengurusan sisa pepejal dengan mewujudkan persekitaran kerja yang lebih baik bagi petugas Pembantu Awam. TRASENS merupakan inisiatif pihak Majlis dalam menangani aduan awam mengenai longgokan sampah yang bertaburan di sekeliling tong sampah di taman awam.

Pelaksanaan inisiatif KIK telah dapat mempertingkatkan mutu sistem penyampaian perkhidmatan agensi-agensi di bawah seliaan MPHLG.

Konvensyen yang diadakan buat pertama kali itu diyakini menjadi penggerak kepada usaha memupuk budaya inovasi khususnya, dalam kalangan warga kementerian berkenaan.

KIK berperanan sebagai mekanisme penyelesaian masalah atau penambahbaikan proses kerja dan piawaian sedia ada atau memperkenalkan sesuatu yang baharu.
