Sarawak is transforming its state-owned enterprises to boost economic growth and improve overall corporate governance. This new programme aims to make these organisations financially independent and highly profitable by the year 2030 through strict accountability and major strategic reforms.

On the New Mukah Airport, the Prime Minister congratulated the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, the Sarawak Government and all agencies involved for their success in building “an iconic landmark” in Mukah Division, in spite of Malaysia’s ongoing battle against COVID-19.

Priority for vaccination for COVID-19 should be given to front liners and people who are providing service under essential services and these include people in the transport sector including p-hailing riders for delivery of food and drinks.
