An exhibition was put together for the opening ceremony of University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Bintulu campus here yesterday.
The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, who is also UPM’s chancellor, declared open the event on his Royal Highness’ first visit to the campus.
Among those also present were Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment YB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Speaker YB Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar, Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Electricity and Telecommunication) YB Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Assistant Minister of Tourism YB Datuk Talib Zulpilip and UPMKB Dean (Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences) Prof Dr Japar Sidik Bujang.
