In Sarawak, the production of livestock is still relatively low and by 2050, the State aims to increase its ruminant production to 50 per cent self-sufficiency rate.

Jejambat Sibu, Seksyen Sibu WPC07 Lebuhraya Pan Borneo Sarawak mempunyai empat (4) lorong dua (2) hala sepanjang 685 meter ini telah mula dibina pada tahun 2016 dan dijangka memberi manfaat kepada pengguna jalan raya terutama laluan kedua-dua hala Bintulu – Airport Sibu/ Kuching dengan kos keseluruhan pembinaan jejambat ini adalah berjumlah RM61 juta.

Many are powered by SARES that gives electricity supply at no cost, although consumption is limited.
